I love Fall in Minnesota. The beautiful colors of the trees, the smell of bonfires and chimneys being lit. Halloween, pumpkin patches and apple orchards.
Hot cider, apple desserts, stews and soups, root vegetables and hearty meals. Snuggling with blankets and giant wool socks. Scarves, hats, jackets and boots. Crunching leafs underfoot and sharp, crisp clean air. Seeing your breath but sweating because the sun is beating down.
Warm and fragrant households with loved ones gathered together. Cozying up in a dark jazz club. Red wine and local brews, whiskey and bourbon, Grand Marnier and brandy. Gentle snows with lazily drifting flakes.
